Janine Lowe is an award-winning Feng Shui Consultant, Chinese Astrologer, author, teacher, broadcaster and founder of Alley Cat House Publishing.
Her journey into Feng Shui began more than twenty years ago and developed into a lifelong fascination with how our homes, our timing and the energy around us can influence the way we live. Janine went on to study classical Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology, building a successful career helping people understand their homes, businesses, relationships and themselves in a completely different way.
Known for making what can sometimes feel like complicated subjects simple, practical and accessible, Janine believes Feng Shui should be something everyone can use. Her approach is warm, straightforward and firmly rooted in real life.
She is the author of Date Love Marry Avoid, Feng Shui Your Way to Abundance, Manifest Your Way to Abundance, The Little Book of 100 Feng Shui Tips and The Year of the Goat 2027, alongside her popular annual Chinese Astrology books and guides.
Janine is also the presenter of Feng Shui Your Way on UK Health Radio, where she talks with fascinating guests from the worlds of wellbeing, spirituality, personal development and complementary practices.
From Author to Publisher
After experiencing the publishing world as an author herself, Janine wanted to create something different.
She founded Alley Cat House Publishing with a simple vision: to create a publishing home where authors feel supported, valued and genuinely excited about bringing their knowledge into the world.
Alley Cat House specialises in Mind, Body and Spirit, self-help, metaphysics, personal development and related subjects.
Janine is also the creator of The Discovering Series, a collection of accessible introductory books written by respected experts in their fields. The series is designed especially for readers who are completely new to subjects such as Reiki, Shamanism, Mediumship and other areas of spiritual and personal discovery.
Her philosophy behind the series is simple: you shouldn't need to know the language, terminology or background of a subject before you can begin exploring it. Every book should open a door.
A Little More About Janine
Away from books, broadcasting and Feng Shui, Janine has a huge love of animals, particularly cats.
Animal rescue has played an important part in her life for many years, and her home has welcomed numerous cats who needed safety, patience and a second chance.
That love is also woven into the heart of Alley Cat House. Even its name reflects Janine's belief that sometimes the ones who don't quite fit the conventional mould are the ones with the most wonderful stories to tell.
Janine lives in West Sussex and continues to write, teach, consult, broadcast and develop new books and authors through Alley Cat House Publishing.
