Be The Light of Gratitude and Kindness
Frans Stiene
Often we think that the system of Reiki is just about hands on /off healing, even modern Japanese teachers seem to just focus on this. But from a traditional viewpoint, however, it is so much more than hands on/off healing; it is a Way of Life.
A way of life in which we can shine the light of gratefulness and kindness in all we do. By being this light in our daily lives, we start to change our own perception, and because of that, we can help other people to change their perception of life.
For most of us our life has many ups and downs but what if we can start to slowly realise that there is a better way of living, a more calmer, open, kinderway. In which we start to feel lighter and happier. Imagine what kind of effect this will have on your local community and if many of us start to shine this bright light into the world more and more it can have a tremendous effect on a global scale.
When we start to realise that our essence is this bright light of gratefulness and kindness, our own inner energy starts to flow more and more freely which in turn will trigger our own inner healing mechanism.
The more we embrace the light of gratitude and kindness, the less we feel the need to shield ourselves from uncomfortable circumstances. When we shield ourselves we use up a tremendous amount of energy which we could have used for healing ourselves and others. And the more we shield ourselves, the more bothered by outer circumstances we become. We get quickly angry, worried, and irritated by even the slightest things in life.
Within this book, you not only find out what the system of Reiki is but also gain insights and teachings on how to live your life more freely and lighter. Having a lighter step in our lives makes everything we do today so much easier; we start to feel more relaxed, open, lighter, grateful and kind.
The more open we feel, the more we can give and receive. Look at your own hand and now make a fist - the tight fist of anger, worry, fear, attachments, you name it. With this tight fist, we can neither receive something nor give something. To receive, we need to open our hand, and to give, we also need to open our hand. So, how can we embrace this concept of an open hand in our daily life? Keep reading and exploring the teachings in Discovering Reiki – Be The Light of Gratitude and Kindness to see how it can help you live a happier and healthier life.
